Sampling data captured in Oceanic Exploration Research In the course of 2015, two types of work were carried out under the contract. The first involved the processing of bathymetric data and acoustic images obtained using the RESON SeaBat 7150 multibeam echosounder mounted on the vessel Pourquoi Pas? during the BICOSE cruise. The second was the conduct of biological studies of active areas in the two known sites (Snake Pit and Trans-Atlantic Geotraverse (TAG)).
